Abstract
In this paper, a new class of sets, namely a- semi-regular closed sets is introduced andstudied for topological sp aces. This class p roperly contains the class of semi--closed sets andis property contained in the class of pre-semi-closed sets. Also, we introduce and study srcontinuityand sr-irresoleteness. We showed that sr-continuity falls strictly in betweensemi-- continuity and pre-semi-continuity
