Abstract :
In this study, subjectivity has been defined according to Smith (2003), and Nuyt’s (2001) argumentation on the degree of subjectivity has been supported. Based on the constructed conceptual framework, an analysis to determine presentations of subjectivity has been performed on the database which consists of written narratives obtained from the students. The quantitative results show that students frequently prefer to use objective subjectivity coding. This tends to turn the student narratives into report texts which are based on event presentation.
