  • Abstract
    A sufficient condition for the existence of global solutions is established, and the rate of decay of solutions to the Cauchy problem for a semi-linear pseudo-hyperbolic equation with structural damping is found. The nonexistence of global solutions is also studied. An analogue of the critical Fujita exponents is obtained for the considered problem
