Abstract :
Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethecorrelationbetweentheavailableleisureactivitytimeandlifesatisfactionofthehealthy
elderlyandthefactorsaffectingthem.Method. Fortheanalysis,datafromthe2014TimeUseSurvey(2014TUS)publishedby
StatisticsKorea(KOSTAT)wasused.Thisstudyclassifiedthedetailedactivitiesof9228subjects,basedonthedatain2014TUS,
andanalyzedthedifferencesintimeuseforoccupationdomainsbyagegroup.Results. Itwasfoundthatagreateramounttime
usedforoutdoorleisureactivitiesyieldedahigherlifesatisfactionvalue.Differenceswerefoundintimeusebyoccupation
domainsbetweenyoungerandoldergroups.Theseshowedhigherlifesatisfactionforthosewithspouses,regularfull-timejobs,
highereducation,andbetterhealth.Conclusion. Basedontheseresults,inordertoimprovethequalityoflife(QoL)forolder
adults,itisnecessarytodevelopvariousleisureprogramsthatrequiredynamicphysicalactivitiesandtopreparealternative
policiesatthenationalleveltopromoteparticipationinleisureactivitiesbyolderadults.Thisstudywillprovideoccupational
therapists(OTs)withdatatheycanusetohelpolderadultswhohavedifficultyintimeusagethroughtimemanagement
interventiontoimprovetheirlifesatisfactionandQoL
