Abstract :
The systemic vasculitides are characterised by the inflammation and necrosis of blood vessel walls. The clinical spectrum of disease is varied and dependent on the size, number and site of the vessels involved. Immunosuppressive agents are used to treat many pediatric vasculitic diseases. The purpose of this review is to present a brief overview of the primary vasculitides that frequently affect children.
