Abstract :
This paper seeks to luminous the untold development of Mak Long Teh Guest House in Cherating, Pahang. The importance of this topic is that this guest house has not only the earliest tourism entrepreneurship ever being set up at Cherating but also one of the pioneer of homestay in this country. It is a description of how the local involvement, such as Mak Long Teh, in tourismindustry by setting up small enterprice and what are the internal and external factors that have driven them to involve in this sector. Material of this writing was collected from those people who had directly involved in its setting up and operations. To give a bigger picture and where it stands, data also being collect from published and official documents. This study foresee the impacts of large entrepreneurship in the area that has ruining the small enterprices as been experienced by this guest house.
