Abstract
Phytochemical investigation of the seeds of Ipomoea hederaceae Auct.
non Jacq.
resulted in the isolation Of 4, 4, 10, 13 ,14-pentamethyl-14- (18,22-dimethylnonyl) podocarp-1-en-3 α,11β,12 α-triol (hederaceter-penol) (1), 2, 2, 8,12- tetramethyl-n-hexadec-4,6-dien-8 α ,9 β , 11β -triol (hederacetriol) (2), 3,7,11,15- tetramethyl-n-hexadec-6β-ol-β-D-glucopyranoside (hederaterpenoside) (3) and 1'-[13, 14dimethy1-14-(18, 22- dimethylnony1) -podocarp-1-en-11 α, 12α-diol-3β-yl)-9'-[13,14-dimethyl-14(18,22-dimethylnony1)- podocarp-1-en-11 α, 12α-dio1, 3β-yl)-nona-2', 7’-dien-1', 9’-dioate (hederacyl triterpenoid) (5) and stigmast-5-en-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4).
Their structures have been elucidated on the basis of the spectral data analyses and chemical means.

أثناء دراسة بذور إيبومويا هيديراسيا تم فصل المركبات التالية : 4, 4,10,13,14-pentamethyl-14-(18,22-dimethylnonyl)podocarp-1-en-3 a,11b,12a-triol (hederaceter-penol) (1), 2, 2, 8,12-tetramethyl-n-hexadec-4,6-dien-8a,9a,11b-triol (hederacetriol) (2), 3, 7,11,15-tetramethyl-n-hexadec-6b-ol-b-D-glucopyranoside(hederaterpenoside) (3) 1'-[13,14dimethy 1-14-(18, 22-dimethylnonyl)-podocarp-1-en-11 a,12a-diol-3b-yl)-9'-[13,14-dimethyl-14(18,22-dimethyl-nonyl)-podocarp-1-en-11a,12a-dio1,3b-yl)-nona-2',7'-dien-1',9'-dioate (hederacyl triterpenoid) (5) بالإضافة إلى (4) stigmast-5-en-3-O-b-D-glucopyranoside و تم التعرف على التركيب البنائي لها استنادا إلى تحليل البيانات الطيفية و الكيميائية.
