Abstract :
The history of Turkish press in Western Europe has its roots at the final period of Ottoman Empire. This study gives a recent portrait of this media which has started with mass immigration of Turkish labor in 1960s, and developed in years both in quality and quantity. The aim of the study is to provide a framework for researchers working on the interrelated areas of media and immigration literatures, and it focuses on the Turkish media appealing to the Turks in Germany, France and Holland. Turkish media in Europe reflects the existing structure of media in Turkey, continues publishing in spite of economic crises, can collaborate in some respects while they are rival groups in Turkey, and positions itself as a life-guide for immigrants. Although there are problems with the content of this media, the very existence of it encourages the progress of multiple identities in the long run. In the 21st century, these media was upgraded in quality while the new Euro-Turk generations has started to contribute -which has enriched their content.
