The year 2011 saw momentous events taking place in many countries in the Region, which continue to unfold. Such significant upheaval is unsettling and has affected to lesser or greater degrees everyday life around the Region. We hope that the coming months will bring positive outcomes for all countries of the Region and their peoples.
