DR. ABDUL MOlD; Incomparable and Unparallel in History of Librarianship

In history of Mankind there have been certain names, which always shine on the horizon of scholarship and wisdom. Dr. Abdul Moid is one of the privileged elite of the profession of librarianship. The profession of librarianship was totally barren in early days of Pakistan. He was the dynamic person who first launched post-graduate education in Library Science in 1956 and later Master and PhD at University of Karachi. He made arrangement of education and training of young Pakistani youths who later joined the noble task of producing squad of librarians in the country.
