  • Abstract
    A disposable ped integrated panties to be used during women’s mensturation period is designed, produced and tested as an alternative to feminine hygienic care products. 5 spunbond nonwoven fabrics of differing area weights were selected to be used in the panties and a commercial ped was selected and samples were obtained from its manufacturer. Prototypes were produced, sterilized and tested by 12 subjects of differing ages. The performance of the product was discussed according to the results of both objective and subjective tests.
