Abstract :
While approximately half of the cost of ready-made clothing industry products consists of textile fabric costs, approximately one quarter of expensesconstitutes fabric losses. The study related to reducing losses of the fabric takes place in garment production investigates how production planning factors affect fabric losses. For this purpose, the analysis of fabric loss factors have been realized, some related production planning factors are deemed sufficiently effective in terms of fabric losses. With experimental studies it has been proven that, in garment production, during production line calculation process the possibility of ground preparation for reducing fabric losses is available and there is some advice about it.In garment production the realization of determining optimal fabric width in terms of fabric losses with production planning rather production line calculation can reduce fabric losses significantly.
