EDITORIAL: ENERGY MANAGEMENT IN TEXTILE INDUSTRY

The growing need for energy use due to the social and economic development throughout the world increases the importance of the implementation of energy efficiency measures. Most industrial enterprises are dependent on non-renewable energy sources based on fossil fuels, and rising energy prices are driving up final product costs. As well as economical aspects, increases in greenhouse gas emissions due to the use of fossil fuels which have started to threaten the natural environment and the depletion of natural energy sources reveal the importance of the comprehensive research and developmental activities within a proper energy management system.
