Abstract :
Since the start of our history, the use of textile materials for shelter and clothing has been one of our primary needs. Although early traces of textile materials have been found in Egypt and Crete, the latest archaeological findings in Göbeklitepe (Şanlıurfa, Turkey) indicate that Anatolia, the cradle of civilizations, was the first region in which textile materials appeared. In this regard, Anatolia is of great importance in terms of textile history.
