Abstract :
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is increasingly being recognized as a global public health problem.The prevalence and incidence of CKD is increasing at the rate of 6 to 8 percent per annum in the United States alone, largely as a consequence of increasing prevalence of diabetes and obesity.
