Abstract :
The study aimed to evaluate the immune response for NDV depending upon clinical cases brought by the client to the clinic of college of veterinary medicine, University of Anbar, during the period from October 1, to December 31,2010. The study was conducted on 86 broiler chicks. The animal were divided into 3 groups according to their age. Haemagglutination inhibition (H.I) test was the criteria of evaluation the immune response. Blood samples were collected via direct slaughtering of chicks. Serum samples were separated for immunological test. Group 1: Included 15 sample, the age ranged between 4-7 days, they had got one time vaccine. Group 2: Included 44 sample, the age ranged from 10- 20 days, they have got two time vaccines. Group 3: Included 27 sample, the age ranged from 20-30 days, they have got three time vaccines. The result showed that low Abs titer have been detected in group 2 which showed a marked relapse in their immune status as expressed by the mean value 398.99±87.64 of H.I titer. There were a significant difference between the third group and other groups (P 0.05). It was concluded that no fixed time for vaccination against NDV with special regard to maternal immunity (M.I).
