Abstract :
The main aim of this study is to develop a reliable and valid scale measuring the organizational identity perceptions of teachers at schools at elementary schools. The study has been carried out as a survey model to develop “the Scale of Organizational Identity Perception at Elementary Schools” for the teachers working at elementary schools. The study group of the study consisted of a total of 352 primary school teachers, 152 of whom were in Kars province, 100 in Iğdır and 100 of whom were in Ardahan province. In this study, in order to determine the structural validity of “the Scale of the Perception of Organizational Identity at Elementary Schools” exploratory factor analysis based on the principal component analysis was employed. In the plot study form of the Scale of the Perception of Organizational Identity at Schools as items 15., 16., 38. and 40. were under the different dimensions of the scale and 27th item had a factor loading lower than 40, they were excluded from the scale. In the reliability analysis done, Cronbach Alpha of the first factor was found to be .97, second .94, third .95, and fourth .94, respectively. Overall Cronbach Alpha for the scale was found to be .98. It was decided that “the Scale of the Perception of Organizational Identity at Elementary Schools” developed at the end of the study is reliable and valid with its 48- item final version.
