Abstract :
The purpose of this study was todetermine the validity and reliability of the Rational Experiential Inventory originally developed by Paciniand Epstein (1999). The orijinal form of the inventory consists of 40 items and 4 factors. To examine there liability and validity of the inventory data were collected from 372 high schools tudents. For validity exploratory and conformatory factor analysis methods were used. Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient t test values for 27% groups and ıtem total test corelation coefficient were measured for reliability. The results of exploratory factor analysis, differently from original form, indicate a three factor structure. This structure is validated by confirmatory factor analysis. Th estudy of reliability analyses produced adequate results.
