  • Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of Turkish version of the Mental Health Continuum-Short Form. The sample of the study consists of 365 university students. Results of confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that the 14 items loaded on three factors (first order; x²= 235.41, df= 72, x²/df= 3,26, RMSEA= .079, NFI= .96, NNFI= .96, IFI= .97, RFI= .95, CFI= .97, GFI= .92, SRMR= .049 - second order; x²= 235.41, df= 72, x²/df= 3,26, RMSEA= .079, NFI= .90, NNFI= .90, IFI= .93, RFI= .87, CFI= .92, GFI= .92, SRMR= .049). The internal consistency coefficients of three subscales were .84, .78 and .85 and the overall scale was .90. These results show that MHC-SF is valid, reliable and suitable for academic studies.
