On the Islamic Identity Desired to be Created/Created Through the Teaching of Islamic religion in Germany

The main theme of the article is the Moslem identity desired to be created in Germany. The moslem identity in Europe and Germany, the religious policy of the European Union, and the teaching of theology in Germany were examined in connection with this subject. In this article I will be looking for answers to the questions: “What are the basic policies of the EU member countries followed by the Moslems in teaching religion? What type of Moslem identity is created through the Islamic Religious lessons and Religious Culture lessons? In answering these questions I will analyze the education programs of the Islamic Religious and Religious Culture lessons currently being used. The result of the analysis revealed that it was desired to create in Germany a moslem identity living by the Koran and applying his faith to his daily life and living in harmony with the society.
