Abstract :
This research has been carried out in order to determine the contributions of the digital documentary production as a reflective practice on improving the students’ reflective thinking skills. Application oriented action research has been used in this research. The study group consists of 36 junior students studying at a state university. The data of the study were collected through “Scale to Measure the Level of Reflective Thinking” and “Project Based Learning Reflective Thinking Report”. According to the results, the process of digital documentary production had no significant difference for perception level of reflective thinking. Significant differences between students’ level of reflective thinking and perception level of reflective thinking were identified. It has been found out that the answers in the reports of students are mainly on the level of reporting, responding and relating. The reasons of this case have been examined in terms of the quality of questions, believing the task and the quality of the task.
