An Assessment on Hadith of Six Commodities (al-Asnāf al-Sittah) on the Base of Economical Reality

In this article, what is known as “hadith of six commodities” (al-asnāf al-sittah) which riba al-fadl derived from is examined according to ecconomical reality. Having pointed out to the prevalent understanding about riba al-fadl, a new understanding is put forward and a comparison is made between the prospective results of these two understandings. In this contex, it is especially explained that understanding of the hadith of six commodities in an harmonical way with the facts of the economical reality is very important.
