Peygamberimiz Hz. Muhammed’in Müezzinleri

All the religions have used different ways to invite their belivers to the prayer. The way adopted in Islam is quite different. Because this invitation is realised by human voice. T he Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) attributed great importance to beautiful and strong human voice and wanted Azan to be called by people who had a beautiful voice and a good knowledge of music. He chose muezzins who called the faithful to prayer from those people who had such a bautiful voice. This article is intended to introduce the muezzins choosed by The Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) and to give information about their voice characteristics and musical knowledge.
