Qualitative Analysis of Videos in Religious Education Researches: Nvivo8 as Case Study

This article discusses the use of the qualitative data analysis of the Nvivo Program in researches in the field of Religious Education. The basic question of this study is this: how can we conduct a video analysis in Religious Education using the Nvivio8 Program? The present study, in answer to this question, shows step by step the processes of analysis of the cartoon movie entitled The Prince of Egypt. Although the program is fully functional in video analysis, it poses certain difficulties. This study basically concludes that, despite the difficulties, the Nvivo Program could be used in video analysis in Religious Education researches.
