Abstract
Assessment is one of the key components in teaching and learning. Redefining fair: How to plan, assess, and grade for excellence in mixed-ability classrooms is a book published by Solution Tree Press in 2011 and written by Damian Cooper who is an expert in student assessment and has served as an assessment consultant. He wrote the book by drawing on his experience observing teachers conducting lessons and from his projects and partnerships with school teachers and administrators in enhancing their instructional strategies and assessment skill.
