Abstract :
This study investigates the effects of process parameters in the production of high density polyethylene-grass composite; the process parameters and their interaction on the mechanical properties of the produced high density polyethylene-grass composite were investigated using split-split plot design. The results of the calculated Fisher’s Ratio (Fcₐl) at significant value of 0.05 for the process parameters such as percentage by volume of material, barrel temperature, material type and their interactions ranges from -80.11 to 29.95, and were presented on ANOVA Table. The results obtained shows that these process parameters contribute significantly to the production of high density polyethylene-grass composite in polymeric industries.
