Abstract :
This study aims to point out that the compound word ṭopuḳḳoyun, which could be found in Hekim Bereket’s Ḫulāṣa has parallels with the compound word yüzükoyun that is used both in Modern Turkish and in historical texts, and analyses the etymology and the use of this structure in Anatolian Turkish.
