Abstract
Classical Turkish literature preserved its supernormal position from beginning to present-day because it contains literary and cultural materials. The writers who composed this literature used common word cadre at the same culture atmosphere. Classical poets, who evaluated their words in use with every meaning, when they write their interesting spectres they aimed to be different. They aren’t do with common meanings of the words and they used metaphoric, subordinatal andterminological meanings of the words in the poetry. In this article, eventhough it has been usually knowed with its “”season” meaning in Classical Turkish Literature, “leaf” and “flower” meanings of the word “bahâr (spring)” are evaluated. After then the meanings of the word “bahâr” to be referred in classical dictionaries, samples from difference classical poets are given beginning from 15th century. In this way, reflections of the word “bahâr” to classical poetry with “leaf-flower” meanings are introduced.
