THEMA AND ALLEGORICAL COMPONENTS IN HALİDE EDİP ADIVAR S STORY: “DAĞA ÇIKAN KURT”

Halide Edip Adıvar is one of the leading names of National Literary movement. She wrote novels, stories, plays and memorials. In terms of content her stories evolved from individual subjects into social problems. The stories she wrote during during the National Struggle reflects her observations on the fronts and public. Dağa Çıkan Kurt is one of her books which collects the stories of this period. In this article thematical and allegorical components of the story Dağa Çıkan Kurt will be mentioned. The story tells independence struggle of Turkish nation in a context of forest metaphor including some mythological figures.
