THE CLASSIFICATION OF TELKHÎS’S CONTENT

al-Khaṭīb al-Qazwīnī’s book named Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ has been considered as one of the important works belong to ʿilm al-balagha heritage. Since it has been written in 8th century, has remained important and has been studying in many respects. However a serious effort is not encountered about composition of the chapters and classification of the terms in the work. Thus this essay aims comparison between Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ and Abū Yaʿqūb al-Sakkākī’s Miftāḥ al-ʿUlūm which is the source of Talkhīṣ in respect to composition of chapters and classification of terms.
