A many-body projection approach to quantum-limit magneto-optical transition of two-dimensional electrons confined in a parabolic well

We apply the theory of magneto-optical transitions, introduced earlier by utilizing a many-body projection technique, on a system of electrons scattered by piezoelectric phonons in GaAs; the temperature dependence of the cyclotron resonance linewidth is investigated. It is shown that the width in the quantum limit increases with the temperature.
