Abstract :
Crises are frequent and varied, and may have profound effects on individuals and organizations. Effectiveness of management of crises, regardless of their scope, requires the ability to access, process different types of information. Crisis management requires an ongoing process of planning, prevention, response and recovery. The aim of this research is to propose a generic architecture for crisis response system that provides the emergency team with adequate set of resources to enable them to respond to a crisis. A framework based on the multi-agent system technology that decomposed a set of cooperation agents is presented. A prototype oriented toward fire fighting and suppression is introduced. The main purpose of this system is to enable fire fighters for management of resources and activities that take place in handling fires through a web-based interface. The main purpose of the prototype is to help the user manage fire by providing several alternatives that enhance the decision process and derive utilized response so that they can adapt their resources, reduce risk and respond effectively when fire occurs.
