Abstract
Complete debridement and obturation of the root canal system is necessary for long-term success of endodontic treatment. Disinfection and debridement of canal isthmus spaces and anastomoses between canals remains a challenge. A modified use of the EndoVac system obviously optimises the flow of irrigants through these spaces which are inaccessible to endodontic instruments.
