Abstract :
This study aims to examine the relationship between job satisfaction, organizational justice, and organizational commitment on job performance among 200 employees of private sectors in and around Klang Valley. The study was carried out from September 2010 to February 2011. The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) was used to measure job satisfaction, optimistic traits were measured by the Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R), and Organizational Justice Scale (OJS) to measure organizational justice. Job performance was measured using an adapted questionnaire developed by Fatimah wati Halim and Iran Herman (1997). Reliability of all measures was good and satisfactory. Results had shown that inter-correlations of all variables were achieved satisfactory. Job performance was strongly associated with job satisfaction, followed by optimistic trait, and organizational justice. Further analysis had shown that job performance was best predicted by job satisfaction, optimistic trait, and organizational justice. This result is in complete agreement with previous studies.
