KESAN KETAMADUNAN ISLAM ANDALUSIA DALAM NOVEL MELAYU PILIHAN MUTAKHIR

The development of Islamic civilization has been spanning for hundreds of years and encompass various aspects of life. This is revealed in the history of theworld in general, as well as through the history of Islam, especially those who record the relationship of Islamic civilization with the growth of human lifeand community development. Similarly, with the development of the Malay language of the birthplace which illustrates the impact of Islamic civilization inliterary works witnessing the birth of new authors who channeled the value of Islamic civilization that surrounded the Andalusia in their respective works.Therefore, this paper discusses the impact of Islamic civilization in two recent Malay novels, the novel Lentera Cinta Albaicin (Mazny M.R., Galeri Ilmu SdnBhd, 2011) and Nuansa Kota Merah (Khayrn Othman, Karangkraf, 2011). Both storyline used Andalusia as he plot which shows Islamic civilization ispresented in the novel. The approach of the study is to use the text analysis method and the thematic approach. This study will show the values of civilizationfrom three angles, namely religion, culture and social that ultimately highlight the history of Islam. Based on the study, it is clear that Islamic civilization, which is around the Andalusian earth, is used by authors to work as a useful message for readers audiences.
