Abstract
In the present work, the interacting boson model(IBM-1)has been used in the calculation of the energy levels as a function of angular momentum E(L) for even-even ^74/34 ^Se 40 deformed nuclei. The calculated results are compared with the available experimental data and found to be in a good agreement, specially at low-lying states, while at high angular momentum, some theoretical values are somehow larger than the experimental values.
