Abstract
City is re-shaped by neoliberalism and globalization as consumption site since „70s. In „80s, usage and transform values re-create cities. Thus, cities become the center for services, unearned income and a tool for capital‟s accumulation. Transformation of cities induces other problems such as dispossession, housing problems, and destruction of ecological-historical sites. Therefore, urban transformations become the heart of social policies and planning. In „90s, the right to adequate living standards and social justice notions are forgotten to be taken into consideration in urban transformation projects. This paper will provide an insight for anti-social policy aspects of city neo-liberalisation and urban transformation policies and practices. Afterwards, poverty will be clarified with social justice, and city right and urban social movements will be taken into consideration in contexts of squatted house, housing need and access to other relevant services.
