Abstract :
The ultrastructure of sperm head and its differentiation in the lizard Bunopus tuberculatus was described. The mode of differentiation process included the follOWing morphogenic phases: Golgi Phase (formation of acrosomal vesicle and granule), Cap Phase (formation of acrosomal cap), Acrosomal Phase (nuclear elongation and condensation) and Maturation Phase (disappearance of manchette).
