Faktor Ekstralinguistik Sebagai Pacuan Asas Membaca Murid Tahun 1 di Sekolah Kebangsaan: Ke Arah Melahirkan Modal Insan yang Berkualiti

This paper explores extralinguistic factor as basic reading driven force in learning Malay language among standard 1 pupil. The data were collected from controlled observations involving the pupil and their parents and teachers. It is found that the pupil could acquired reading skill at initially level, either good or moderate, but they need to be nurtured with extralinguistic factor. This study proved that basic reading education given through a constructive and systematic basic material would yield quality human capital promptly.
