Abstract :
The outcome of literature does not bring any meaning without the presence of feeling and emotion, especially in the aspect of children’s literature. Children need reading materials that are able to stimulate their feeling and emotion so that their emotion growth and development are in line with their physical, spiritual, intellectual and social development. Reading materials should not solely contain element of teaching or knowledge, but the element of emotion is also important to evoke the sense of feeling and psychology in children. With the presence of emotion in children s literature reading, their emotion will be more stimulated and ensure that their emotional development is parallel with the stages of their childhood development. Without emotion, any piece of write up will be bland and would not be able to attract the interest of the mass, especially among children to read the material further due to the lack of emotional attention which eventually make them bored. Thus, this article will analyze children’s emotional expression detected when they read children’s literature.
