Abstract
Today, historical, cultural and emotional bonds between Turkey and other communitieswithin the Turkish World are in a strong state. Changing world balance makes it a necessityfor Turkey to concern about other Turkish communities in other regions. Atatürk’s personalityand every phase of his efforts to make Turkey a modern nation can set an excellent modelfor today’s Turkish communities. In this study, by stating Atatürk’s views about the TurkishWorld, an answer to the question of “Can the system of Kemalist Thought be put forward as amodernization model for today’s Turkish communities?” is sought
