Vegetation period and rainfalls during in this time in Trakya (Thrace)

In this article we tried to put out the vegetation period in the meteorolgicalstations of Trakya ( Thrace), by using the values of the years between 1929-2006. We usedmean daily temperatures above 8° C, for determining this period. According to this data, thevegetation period of Trakya is 8 months in iner parts and about 9 months in costal regions. Therainfall amounts in the vegetation period, are more than half of mean yearly rainfalls in allmeteorological stations.
