ADOLESCENT’S COMPUTER ADDICTION SCALE

The purpose of this article is to develop a scale for adolescent’s computer addiction. Experts were consulted for validity of extent, and factor analyzes was held for structure validity. As result of factor analyze, two factors were emerged. The load value of the 28 items which located in the first factor, change between .512-.795. First factor which name is Internet addiction, explain %29.49 of variance. The load value of the twenty six items which is located in the second factor, change between .424-.788. Second factor which name is Computer game addiction, explain %19.13 of variance. Total scale explain %48.62 of variance. First factor’s internal consistency coherence is .96, the second factor’s is .95 and total scale is.95.
