TRADITIONS ABOUT THE PERIOD BEFORE BIRTH, AFTER BIRT AND CHILDHOOP PERİO

Beliefs and traditions about (the verbal culture) are apt to variations in the Turkish Folk Literature these traditions may range from regions to regions, locations to locations or ever from the villages to villages.This article deals with the applications for the women and the child and the traditions before birth, at the end of the birth and during the childhood period in Erzurum. Throughout the period when the technology hasn’t developed, yet or when the technology hasn’t reached these regions, the applications that people formed by trials and the thinking styles developed since they couldn’t understand the things in order to find solutions for their problems or to meet their needs have been handled.
