  • Abstract
This study is a critical examining on the explanations, basic approach, general aims and teaching fields (basic language arts: listening, speaking, reading and writing) of Teaching Program of Turkish Course which came into effect in 2006 for secondary stage. The samples seen in the study has been broadly evaluated with its content, aim, usefulness and transformation. It has been not only commented on all of teaching fields but also given acquisitions prepared for speaking and writing skills. While the situation in the program and working style of the acquisitions on these skills have been determined, the interaction between oral and written culture has been considered and the acquisitions as part of these skills have been compared. The most significant result of the research is that basic language arts have seen as affirmation point of each other instead of that listening should be coordinated and worked up with reading and speaking with writing .
