Abstract :
As an effective therapeutic force in group counseling, the psychological counselor has a function to provide equilibrium among other therapeutic forces such as belonging to the group, confidence, participation in the group, taking responsibility, openness, readiness, therapeutic tension, expectations, acceptance by the group, attractiveness of the group, group members and feedback. In the process of group counseling, the leader is not only affected by all of these forces, at the same time the leader influences the other forces. In this article, it is aimed to investigate the therapeutic skills, the personality, the leadership style, the role and the functions of the group counselor
