DUBBING PROCESS IN FILM TRANSLATION

In this study, in the light of the scientific literature, we examine which processesare applied to a film which is in a foreign language while it is transferring from oneculture to another. And, we also examine how dialogues in the movie are dubbed,in other saying, how statements in the movie are matched. While doing so, first, wescan the scientific researches on dubbing concept and set forth the content of dubbingconcept and its specifications in detail. Then, we discuss with epitomes the problemswhich can occur while translating and matching (dubbing) and in this respect, weanalyze how statement examples which are taken from English movie dialogue listsare translated to German and how matching process in this language and culture isdone. We determine the problems which may probably occur in this process and offerconcrete solutions for solving these problems.
