“Pandai” Mimpi dalam Masyarakat Melayu Utara

This article deals with the issue of dreams. It looks into the Western definition of dreams. It also discusses the Islamic point of view with the help of hadiths and the Al Quran. Three informants have been selected for this research. They hail from the northern part of Malaysia since this research only concentrates on knowledge procured from the northern part of Malaysia. Their outlook with regards to dreams have been taken into consideration in this research. Each informant discusses how he/she interpret dreams.
