Abstract :
Dear Editor, We read with interest the article by Tabatabaei and colleagues in the past issue of the Iranian Journal of Kidney Diseases. Thalassemia is one of the most common hemoglobinopathies in the world, and cardiovascular complication is a major cause of mortality and morbidity in this disease.
