THE FEATURES OF DESCRIBING OF PAST SOCIAL REALITY IN THE LANGUAGE OF PAINTING AND LITERARY TEXT OF MANUSCRIPT SURNAME WITH MINIATURE NARRATIVE AND CINEMA DESIGN: AN ASSESSMENT ON MANUSCRIPT SURNAME-I VEHBI

The aim of this study is to put forth with which meaning and style the past historical reality is described and has the description features, together with the effects of these features especially on cinema design in the language of painting and literary text constituting Ottoman period manuscript Surname with miniature. In the study, firstly, literature evaluation is made and later social semiotic analysis is applied to miniaturetexts as painting and literary texts. The most important feature of Manuscript Surname narrative is that it shows the symbolic features of the understanding, the mentality, social life and style of the period in the literary context and in miniatures by symbolisation and concretisation. By this way, the symbolic structure in social life is expressed in the Surname language with symbolic narrative way giving the conceptual, highlighter and cliched features of this structure. The need for obtaining period realities in the period films and epic fantastic film designs aiming to reflect the past period lifes requires forcing cinema designers to learn how other narratives of art depict reality by considering the interaction among art forms.
